Issues with Sound in the iPad?

Sometimes, an issue may arise where other applications take control and mute the current app on the iPad. You can try the following steps to overcome the problem:

  1. To reveal the iPad's control centre (the one you'd also use to enable flight mode), swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen or downwards from the top right-hand corner.

  2. Find the mute button, which is shaped like a bell and has a line through it; this symbolizes that the app is currently muted

  3. Tap on the bell-shaped mute icon, and the sound will be restored to the program:
