Break a word into syllables
The syllable tool can be used to show students how words may be broken up into syllables. To use the 'syllable' tool, tap on the "tools" button:
To insert a syllable marker while writing the word, just tap on it when you want the syllable marker to appear:
If you want to insert syllable markers into a word you have already written, just move the syllable tool over the word and drop it where you would like it to appear:
