A Practical, Evidence-Based Workshop for Teachers, SLPs, Tutors, and Support Staff
Learning to read is one of the most important milestones in a child’s education, yet many students struggle without the right support. This full-day workshop bridges the gap between research and real-world teaching. We will explore the reading process, why some children find reading difficult, and what high-quality evidence tells us about the most effective instructional approaches.
Most importantly, this workshop is designed to be practical. ReadingDoctor® Online is an evidence-based software suite shown through research to be an effective tool for improving reading ability that can be used in parallel with your existing phonics program. We will demonstrate how ReadingDoctor® Online can be used for mainstream classrooms with all beginning readers through to one-on-one intervention with students who struggle.
This workshop is suitable for classroom teachers, intervention teachers, literacy coordinators, tutors, education support officers, and speech pathologists — anyone committed to helping every learner succeed.
